• Saved Strategies: Options strategies you choose to save to your account

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain our service
• Process your subscription payments
• Save and sync your strategies across devices
• Improve and optimize our platform
• Communicate with you about service updates

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, which provides enterprise-grade security. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to provide our services.

Cookies and Tracking

We use essential browser storage to maintain your session and preferences. PostHog helps us understand which pages and features are used. Vercel Web Analytics also measures page visits and honors the analytics preference below. We identify signed-in PostHog events with an opaque account ID and subscription tier; we do not send your email address, saved strategies, strikes, or position details as identity properties. We also honor the browser's Do Not Track setting.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and database
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Market Data Providers: Options and stock price data
• PostHog: Product usage analytics, subject to your browser preference above
• Vercel Web Analytics: Website traffic analytics, subject to your browser preference above
• Sentry: Error diagnostics and sampled performance monitoring

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it processes data. We encourage you to review their policies.

Third-Party AI Platform Integrations

OptionsCalc may be accessed through third-party AI platforms, such as ChatGPT (operated by OpenAI). When you use OptionsCalc through these platforms:

• The platform sends us query parameters you provide, such as ticker symbols, strike prices, expirations, and strategy configurations
• We process these parameters to generate analysis results and return them to the platform
• We do not receive your AI platform account information, chat history, or personal identity through these integrations
• We do not persistently store queries received through AI platform integrations

How the AI platform collects, stores, and uses your data (including your prompts and our responses) is governed by that platform's own privacy policy, not ours. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any AI platform you use to access OptionsCalc.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your saved strategies

Data Retention

We retain your account information and saved strategies for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.

Product analytics and error diagnostics are retained under the retention periods configured in our PostHog and Sentry projects, then deleted or aggregated when they are no longer needed for product improvement, security, and reliability. Sentry session replay is disabled by default; if enabled for incident diagnosis, text is masked and media is blocked.

Age Restriction

OptionsCalc is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete that information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of OptionsCalc after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
